Whatever your talents, we have a role for you! With Odyssey, you’ll go behind the scenes, meet new people, gain experience, support the arts and maybe even find creative inspiration.
Volunteers receive:
- two free tickets to the summer show
- an invitation to the opening night reception
- an invitation to a rehearsal
- a letter of reference (upon request)
- credits for community volunteer hours.

YEAR-ROUND POSITIONS
We are looking for people to help with:
- special events
- office operations
- fund raising and marketing research
- social media
- volunteer management
- professional writing and editing
- videography
- website development and maintenance
- community outreach
SUMMER POSITIONS
Front of House
Join our team in the great outdoors of Strathcona Park to:
- serve the public at the box office and concession stands
- show people to their seats
- hand out programs
- and much more
Thanks to EDC volunteers!
Production
Help our technical team with the behind the scenes work of:
- stage and set painting
- carpentry
- theatre set-up and take-down in the park
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
If you have a passion for the theatre and expertise to offer, we would be happy to hear from you. We are looking for support in the following areas:
- arts marketing
- sales
- corporate fundraising
- finance
- media relations
- digital marketing and analytics
Board members attend 10 board meetings a year and take on a role or a project or lead a committee. Terms are for a two-year period with the possibility of renewal.
