Auditions

Auditions take place annually in late fall or early winter. If you love the magic of open-air theatre, have physical performance skills and want to immerse yourself in masked theatre, check our website in November for details.

Designers, Choreographers, Composers, Directors

Please send your resume, a cover letter and a link to your digital portfolio if you have one. In your cover letter please highlight your experience in open-air theatre. Tell us how your skills would serve Odyssey’s performance style. We will contact you if a position becomes available.

Internships

We welcome applications for internships in directing, dramaturgy and artistic directing.

These can be unpaid internships. Or, we can help you find funding and apply with you or support your application. Please send applications for funded internships to us six months to a year before your intended start date.

Previous Internships:

• directors — physical theatre directing, large scale productions, and open-air theatre
• dramaturges — analyze physicality of a script, work with physical theatre artists and collaborative creators
• artistic directors — skills to grow existing company or start a new one.

To apply for an internship, submit your resume with a cover letter explaining:

• what you can contribute to the company
